I wouldn't like to work as a teacher of little children because in this case you need to take care of lots of them at the same time and thats hard work

    -Joe Laforge story
Lots of responsibilities for one single person, not my style

    About my job story:

  2. Joe Leforge story: I'm agree with Joe, cooking it´s really extraordinary, you can express yourself by fixing something delicious, I'm not good at cooking but I really enjoy doing this activity.

Blessing I: This is an interesting opinion about a good job, although I think that there is at least other important thing that we should add: a fair wage.

Henry S.: Well, I´m not agree with Henry, I believe that there are many interesting jobs, but in my list I don't have receptionist like an option, I don't want to undestimate this job, but I think that it's boring and monotonous...

I've never worked but I think I would like to work in an embassy, because I want to defend the rights and interest of the mexican people abroad and in some way I really want to change the perception that many countries have about Mexico.

  3. - Joe Laforge's Job: He's a kind of chef, I think. It must be great cooking diferent types of dishes, because you can change your diet everytime you want at home and also you can eat at job everything you want, well if your boss allows it. But in his case it could be hard the setting tables and the washing part if the place where he works is big, because there's a lot different things to do.

Susan Meyer's Job: She works delivering a newspaper. I think it's good doing exercise every single day, but the same route? It could be boring. I suppose that she uses a bicycle but probably it will be replaced for a motorcycle soon.

    - Cheryl Tetreault's job: Being student labourer it must be difficult. The good thing is that she found a summer job, so she didn't have to work while she was studyng, and she could pay the books and the clothing that she needed for school with her salary. Her work sounds hard (mowing grass, painting fences, cleaning parking lots), but in the end she enjoyed a lot because she worked in a place that for her is intersting, a mine.

    - Héctor's Job: I work for Super Carnalillos (a social organitazion focused on improving the quality of life of children, in the Cocoyoc area by the moment, through education) as a teacher, I really enjoy doing that because I can see how children develope their skills that they had hidden, how they improve as students and as "little citizens", and how they begin to set further goals. I thik that working as a teacher you have to carry out these rules: 1. Being commited with your work, trying to learn something new each class. 2. Keeping in that your students learn something that worths in the real life. 3. In the case of transmiting values, teaching all of the them that you really have, if you don't have any, work on it!
The bad part of my job is that I don't receive a salary, even I have to collaborate with my little savings for that SC's goes on. But it's so good when some guys and parents say that they wanna help :).
In the future I would like to work in some Government area, from I can influence in the quality of education, for good of course.

  4. I would like to have a job like Susan Meyer, I imagine a little town where I deliver the newspaper by foot.

It is true that the most important thing in a job is not the money you receive, I agree with Blessing I.

I’d not like to be a receptionist and I don’t think it is the most appealing career, but it’s good that someone is happy with his job.

I worked 4 years in a pharmaceutical lab as a researcher. I belonged to a team which designed, built and tested processing equipment. I liked my job but there were not opportunities for growth. Then I quit my job and I continued my studies.

  5. Hi! !

John Chenier's Job: I actually don't like the John's job, I think it is so bored. So John enjoyed it, maybe because they get a lot of money! !

Joe Laforge's Job: This job I liked more, because Joe showed us how to enjoy an easy job, overcoat how can I do different things in the same kind of job. I think cooking is a exciting activity, and although cooking is easy, not everybody can cooking delicious!

Susan Meyer's Job: I really like this Job, because it's so funny, I like to cycling. This is the perfect Job to travel around the downtown in my bycicle! !

I've never worked because my parents don't agree with this, they think if I started to work maybe I forgot my responsability as a student. Obviously that never could get.
I want to work as a journalist and social researcher. I think the "office" work is better than "camp" work, so I want a job where i want to stay in my home or my office.

  7. I´ve not have a lot of jobs but one that I remember a lot is when I was fourteen, I was at secondary school. On weekends I used to go to a tennis club called Britania in that place I had to pick up the balls of the court while members of the club were playing. I had not a lot of money but I do had a lot of fun, because once the day was over I could used the installations such as the pool and soccer courts.

  8. I listened about:
Joe Laforge,Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. He is a kind of cooker that cooks, receives the customers and also wash the dishes.

Susan Meyer, Haleybury, Ontario. She have a newspaper route, she delivers the Northern Daily News, she works from Monday to Saturday and her day off its on Sunday.

Blessing I, This paragraph is called "A good job". He or She says that a good job give you Medical Care, uniforms and money also an adaptable schedule;she or He talks about the good employer, he has to let employees get experience without loosing their job.

Susan and Joe really enjoy their jobs , I think this is so important so we can be better at what we do.

About Blessing I: we can have a job like that if we know our rights, so we can make them worth.

I'd like to work in a Galery of Art because I think there we can be in contact with art and here is where old and new ideas can be reunited

  9. Joe´s job: Cooking!!! well, food is so
delicious, but preparing is something enviable at least for me because when I cook I always say 'God, help me!!!'.

Stella´s job: I think this is one of the hardest jobs because working with kids is very difficult they´re in movement all the time and need to do things always.

Debra´s job: I think this job is interesting, tough sometimes it could be stressful, but the pay is so good.

I´ve never worked but I´d like to work doing programs like 'Enciclomedia' for schools or in some lab working in the area of informatics.

    I only liked Two:
Blessing I: I think this is a good idea for a good job
Debra Springer: I love the idea of getting an easy job and very well paid!!

The job I would like to have is the job of Edward Grylls; he is a presenter of Discovery Channel and he has a Tv show called Man vs. Wild in which he is left stranded somewhere(like the jungle, high mountains, etc.) and he has to do what ever it takes to survive and somehow find the way back to the civilization. This is my idea of a good job, A LOT OF FUN!!!!

  12. John Chenier:
He was Information Officer at the Court House. He liked his job because it was challenging and he received a good payment.

    Mary Keewuyassin:
She worked at the Long Legged Lake for eleven years cleaning the cabins. She liked the work she did there and also to work with a friend. She is missing the work because she had time to do other activities like fishing.

    Cheryl Tetrreault:
When she was student, she worked at the Placer Dome Mine as a student labourer. She had a hard job, but also she brought people on tours. She recommended to students to do a job like this to.

    Bobeth:
She worked as baby sitter and she found it like a relaxing activity. She talked about the nice things that we can do with a baby but she forgot to tell about the worst things when they are angry.

    Henry S.
He talked about a receptionist work. He told about the way for manage the time to do the work with a minimum supervision and also he recommended this kind of work.

    Esther:
My best job was teaching at the University. I found that work with young students is a challenge because they want to learn but they don't like to be bored or controlled. I try to make them free to learn by themselves. I also try to make them feel not alone. I like to promote the education as a way of progress and I like to cooperate with my students to reach their goals, at least to get a major.
