I don't have any particular hero,I prefer to have many of them because I consider that each of them have a special characteristic that is more useful in certain things
ResponderEliminarHi everyone!!!=D, well, I think that the person who has influenced me the most in my life is my mother, Celia Atilano, 'cause I think she's such a good person, she helps everyone, she doesn't make discriminations, about of social status, religion, sexual preferences, etc..besides, she is a courageous person, she has taught me several things about the life, she taught me to be a good person, even if I didn't take her advices XD.
ResponderEliminarAnyway, daily she teaches me something new.
Finally, to end, my entry, I just want to say: Mom I love you. »-(¯`v´¯)-».
When we think in a kind of hero, always we imagine a person who had had greats deeds or who had fought in a battle, or something like that. So, what about his or her thoughts?
ResponderEliminarI believe the thoughts is the most important feature in a person, overcoat if we can imitate him/her.
I don't have a specific hero to praise, but i know about a personal hero, and maybe he was a hero of many youngers: He's name Mario Benedetti. (he recently died, the last march)
Maybe Mario Benedetti didn't do marvelous things, but his poetry was a hymn for a lot of youngers. His poetry talk about love, peace and friendship.
He always was a modest man, and his poetry was modest too. Without the vanity of the man of letters, Benedetti could transmit one message: the message of love. He always was a man who acts according to his beliefs. For example: He believed in true love, and he had a only one true love, his wife Luz.
For me Mario Benedetti is a hero of the simple poetry, that simpleness made it beautiful!
God rest his soul.
Dalila Mendoza
I don't know, I think is very difficult to choose one hero, for me there are very important heroes that even have made history such as: Gandhi or Luther King, but also there are many others anonymous heroes that help according to their possibilities or from their professions, for example, honest policemen, firefighters or committed teachers; all of them trying to make a better world.
ResponderEliminarFor me education is the most important aspect in building a better society, that's why my heroes are all people that work hard in that area, specially teachers because they are the builders of students' future, depends on them the formation of smart and concious citizens that can collaborate in the construction of the utopia of a happy world.
Talking about famous people I'd say Shakira, the colombian singer, has done a god job. Before she became a fomous artist, she visited some of the poorest places of her country and she realized that guerrilla conflicts put at risk a lot of children who were displaced, having to live in deplorable conditions; so she decided to create the Pies Descalzos Foundation in 1995.
The main objective of the foundation is to develope a public education model for children in displaced and vulnerable communities in Colombia, trough strategies of integral protection to improve the quality of life for students and their families.
At the begining she hadn's enough funds to help many children, but after, she combines her talent, popularity and altruism to not only support the children and people in general of her country but to carry the message to the world of all the problems that our region has, even in international meetings as the Cumbre Iberoamericana. Recently Pies Descalzos found constructed a new school that will be atending 1,590 children and also will benefit 21,000 people through the foundation's community programs.
If you wanna know more about Shakira's work, visit this link and watch the documentary of Pies Descalzos Foundation (it's in english!): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8At-kY_svoY
My heros are not heros and that is the reason because they are my heros. You can image Santurce, Spain, because everything was fucked like right now here. Punk rock music was sounding over the world, 1980. “Eskorbuto”, a punk rock band, was forming. You know: “Sex, drugs and rock’n’roll”. Anyway, my favorite song: “No quiero cambiar”, it is about the streets, drugs, fights and destiny but courage and political conscience too. “Eskorbuto is my hero because they were rude, intelligent, drug addicts and they died about thirty’s and they said: “Nunca pediremos perdón”.
ResponderEliminarI think I don’t have a specifically hero but I admire people that work for others and give the best of him to help. A person who I admire is for example Nelson Mandela, Ernesto Guevara, Bob Marley they are people that really worked for what they wanted, and helped needed people.
ResponderEliminarWell, I don't have a particular hero, but I can say that I admire people who fight to defend their thougths against everybody and everything, I think there have been a lot of people who have made that, but we don't know them, maybe they died fighting for their thoughts and nobody remembers them, but even although I don´t know their names nor their faces I believe that they are really fantastic, because making coincide your thoughts, your words and your actions is one of the hardest things in life, and they definitely achieve that goal.
ResponderEliminarHi!!!
ResponderEliminarI don´t have a favourite hero or simply a hero. Especially in these days because all the entire world is crazy...
But I really admire my family because all my life I´ve seen that they help people who have problems without asking for anything in exchange.
I admire them also because they are very strong and though sometimes we have problems always they try to solve the things of the best way.
Also I admire the writers because they show us many things and places, and we can learn new things, my favourites writers are Paulo Coelho, Mario Benedetti, Soren Kierkegaard among others...
I don't have a hero, but if I have to choose one, My vote is for Josué Medina!!
ResponderEliminarIt’s really dificult for me choose a hero, I think that you can find heroes in diferents ways in your life, but now I’m gonna choose my professional hero, Dr. Magdalena Urueta. She’s been making art history for twenty years, and she is researcher in Mora’s institute, I love her, because she is my tesis and academy tutor and when I became a professional historician, I want to be like her.
ResponderEliminarHi everybody!!!!
ResponderEliminarLike the writing in the Suu Kyi's story said: "A hero is a person who is admired for his or her achievements and noble qualities", acoording to this definition I have many heroes
1.- Arctic mokeys (the rock band).- because they are so talented, their music are so good, and the band is known like one of the best in this years.
2.- Kenia Morales.- she is one of my best friends, but she is the noblest person that I have ever met. She is Christian and ahe has taught me many things about the love, the death, the faith and so on, I really admire her faith and the way that she lives her life. She is different.
3.- José M. Hernández the astronaut of Mexican origin.- I have already read his life story and I can't believe that he has got all this achievements, for me he is an admirable person.
(its paty)
ResponderEliminarHi everyone, I hope you are enjoying this weekend.
I think heroes are those people that make something for you when you need it the most because those things can't be paid.Heroes goes from parents, friends, teachers etc.
Hi everyone, I do not really have any hero, but I would like to say that the Doc. Nery Vela, is a great example for all or at least for my. It is a Mexican who represents to our country very good in the world.
ResponderEliminarI dont think that I have an hero like the woman of the story, but maybe, the people that I can call my heroes are the people that is with me when I has needed, some help, and that people are my family, my friends and another person who has help me in my life.
ResponderEliminarMy last hero is named Sebastian. He is the spokesman for the Zapatista Army of National Liberation (EZLN), recognized like Subcomandante Marcos.
ResponderEliminarI appreciate the way of the revolutionary movement that makes us to think about the injustice in this country. The Indians of Chiapas protest against the Mexican government (and also against the high society) about the treatment of indigent people.
Marcos is a writer, a poet, an adroit humorist and an opponent of capitalism and neo-liberalism. He is the main leader of the revolutionary group of Mexican Indians of Chiapas since January, 1994. Since 2006 he is also named Delegado Cero when he started the "Other Campaign".
Marcos in his own words: ‘Marcos is gay in San Francisco, black in South Africa, an Asian in Europe, a Chicano in San Ysidro, an anarchist in Spain, a Palestinian in Israel, a Mayan Indian in the streets of San Cristobal, a Jew in Germany, a Gypsy in Poland, a Mohawk in Quebec, a pacifist in Bosnia, a single woman on the Metro at 10 p.m., a peasant without land, a gang member in the slums, an unemployed worker, an unhappy student and, of course, a Zapatista in the mountains’.
